Description
Are these 3D hanging convex triangle displays cool or what?
After all, with their bowing (convex) shape they are sure to catch the eye.
And their use may surprise you.
You see, most event planners and exhibitors will order one of these 3D convex triangle hanging signs to display over their trade show booth. To attract attention, and stand out more.
But, it wasn’t long ago when a large, well known, company was hosting its 100th year in business celebration.
And in doing so, they rented out a huge second floor ballroom at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
The company wanted to reward their people, vendors, and customers.
And they wanted to tell the story of how their business grew and evolved over the years.
So they ordered up some fabric hanging signage.
And on the hanging signs they dye sub printed their history throughout the hundred years of being in business.
From black and white stills from way back in the day to modern day facilities, and all of it.
They wanted to tell their story in a flowing, easy to see, way.
And they wanted to line the upper perimeter of the ball room with their then and now imagery.
Pretty cool idea, don’t you think?
A way to showcase their humble beginnings, in visual form, up till now, and their journey in between.
So, knowing that modern day ballrooms and convention halls have hidden covered ceiling rigging points… they requested a diagram (map) of the ballrooms ceiling. A map which showed all of the hidden rigging location points.
Points where hanging signs, and displays, and trusses, lighting, and AV …may be hung securely. And to code.
Points which exist, yet most people haven’t a clue they are there. Because they are cap-covered and blend in well.
So, based on the map, a design plan was conceptualized.
A way to rig each hanging sign for the best visual presentation possible.
However, near the center of the ballroom, they wanted to place an open bar area.
A bar that would be close to the dance floor which they had slated to the East side of the hall. And to also provide easy access to the dining on the other sides.
So, on the floor plan, they laid out their 360 degree bar.
But the best part was, they wanted to make the bar the main focal point. So when customers, vendors and employees strolled in, they would be somewhat awestruck.
And feel the appreciation being bestowed upon them by the company.
So the company ordered up one of these 3D convex triangle hanging signs to rig above this center bar.
After all, with 20′ tall ceilings, why not make a statement?
And on each side of the convex triangle, they added their color registered logo and the 100th year anniversary thank you mention to all who would attend.
And by gosh, it was awestricking as planned.
How do we know?
Well, we were hired to produce the hanging displays and oversee their installation.
And we did just that.
But the main point of this particular story is… Sure they could have went with a hanging ring or square… but by going with a seldom seen convex triangle… It stood out. It was different. And it made the center focal point of the gala that much better.
Meaning anytime you color blast ink molecules into fabric, the imagery is going to be stunning.
But when the fabric bends effortlessly along an arching plane… it just looks elegant.
Long story short.
The bash went off as planned.
We were told that everyone had a good time. Felt appreciated. And marveled at the history of the company, as depicted along the perimeter walls of the ballroom…
So, if you want to look a little different, then why not opt for a 3D hanging convex triangle sign at your next big event, gala, conference or trade show?
After all convex shapes do look interesting.
Add one to your cart today.
And have an enjoyable event.
Oh, and by the way, if you want to see photos of the fabric hanging signs which were produced and used at this 100th year anniversary bash -just ask. We’ll share them privately with you.
