Which means, even though the call out color is registered against color calibrated substrate print mediums, the colors will appear slightly different when place next to others substrates. Even though its the same color calibrate print.

For example… outdoor coated canvas may appear brighter because it’s refracting more light. Verses other substrate types which may appear darker because they’re absorbing more light. Make sense?

This is an industry standard. Yet not many advise you on this phenomenon.

However, if you have time and planned in advance, and your ultra finicky over nailing your Corporate colors across all substrates, then a round or two of hard copy proofs can ease the problem.
